Oh ok so you're saying that I should be the judge of what works and how well? For starters can you use purples and blues for skin shading cus that's something I really want to get down before my college interview ya know. As far as counter colours goes I'll just google that or something.

well i think that you should for skin shading use brown too... only blue shade may look like blue light form behind or something ^^ well when it's painting.. you can mix brown and blue and use this new "cold brown" as shade but in coloured pencils it would be harder.. but anyway just try this and that ^^
